I don’t have any good tricks, especially because I think neurologically it takes us awhile to switch gears. I am always much more productive in the last thirty minutes I work than my first. I do think having some time to imagine things ahead of time before you sit down, and even jotting down a couple of rough notes about where you want to go, helps. Though, of course, we don’t always have that luxury. Best of luck!

I appreciate it! Another option is that Amazon allows publishers to sell ebooks without drm so then people can convert the file into whatever format they want. Apparently, this is only available before the book is published.
